Frequently Asked Questions
What is the process?
Our re-roofing process begins with a site inspection and consultation, followed by a detailed quote. Once approved, we schedule the work, safely remove the existing roof, inspect and prepare the roof frame. We then install your new steel roof, along with any required guttering or fascia. We finish with a full site clean-up, handover and walk through with you.
How do you re-roof and why replace with steel?
Re-roofing involves removing your old roofing material (such as tiles or aged metal) and replacing it with new, high-performance steel roofing, typically Colorbond®. Key features include superior durability, weather resistance, improved insulation, and a modern finish that adds value and street appeal.
How long does re-roofing take?
Most residential re-roofing projects take between 4 to 7 days, depending on roof size, complexity, and weather conditions.
If we go ahead, approximately how long until works commence?
We can usually start within 2 to 4 weeks, depending on our current schedule, weather forecasts and material availability. We’ll confirm exact timing during the quoting stage.
Do you charge for quotes?
No, we offer free, no-obligation quotes. Our team will visit your property, assess the roof, and provide a detailed proposal.
How do I choose Colorbond® colours?
Colorbond® offer a wide range of colours inspired by the Australian environment—over 20 stylish options to suit modern, classic, or coastal designs. We can provide you with samples and recently completed projects to see each colour in large format.
Can I colour match my roof to my gutters?
Yes. You can match your roof, fascia, gutters, and downpipes using the same Colorbond® colour range for a coordinated finish. You can also choose different colours to create a contrasting look.

How many people are involved in the re-roofing of our house?
Typically, a crew of 4 to 8 roofers will be involved, depending on the size and complexity of your project. We also have a dedicated site supervisor to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Do you hold qualifications?

Are you fully insured?
Yes, we are fully insured. This includes public liability insurance, workers’ compensation, and contract works insurance—providing full protection for your property, our workers, and the project itself.
What happens to my old roof?
We handle the safe removal and disposal of all old roofing materials in accordance with environmental and safety regulations. Where possible, we recycle metal waste.
Is re-roofing noisy or disruptive?
Re-roofing does involve some noise during removal and installation, but we work efficiently and respectfully to minimise disruption. We’ll also communicate clearly throughout the project so you know what to expect each day.
